Printed Questionnaires can be used  for respondents without internet access.

​Printed questionnaires have 2 applications:
  1. Questionnaires can be printed and handed out to respondents. After some time, the completed questionnaires can be collected from them and the data capturing process may commence.
  2. Field Surveyors can be sent into the Sample Population with the questionnaires. They can target the appropriate respondents and guide them through the questions in the form of an informal interview. 

Questionnaires are great for surveying a sample population that does not have access to computers or phones.

Field Surveyors are trained in survey methods, communication and languages and have experience with capturing data from verbal sources. Often, field surveyors who conduct interview surveys with a questionnaire may gather more in-depths data.
